Now this is just weird…. Korean literature is being used as a way to sneak spam onto the Internet (normally in user ID pages), for things as varied as
- Male “enhancement” pills online
- Cheap life insurance
- Private Property Impound Software
I spend a lot of time searching around the Internet for interesting bits of information to share with my readers here at KTLIT, and recently a lot of my searches have turned up the phrase:
I’m learning Korean literature at a local university and I’m just about to graduate.
It occurred to me to run a general search for this phrase and it turns out it is a phrase that spammers use to avoid detection by anti-spam programs.. That’s right 182,000 results, as far as I can tell 99% of them spam.
Who would have thought it?
