Man Asian Literary Prize still has places for Korean translated literature!

KTLIT LogoAs readers likely recall, Shin Kyung-sook won last year’s Man Asia Literary Prize, and by doing so became the first woman and first Korean to do so.

I’ve received an email from the Prize, and they’re telling me that they would still be happy to accept more submissions from publishers who published a Korean translation (for the first time for that work) in 2012.

So, two things…

1) If anyone out there knows of a book of Korean literature that has been translated in 2012, please send me the name and I will contact the publisher with all the details.

2) Please pass this along to any fan, writer, publishing house, whatever, that is involved in translating Korean literature (LOL, it’s like it’s my own personal chain letter).
