Korean Modern Literature Hits World Literature Today in the US.

Some good work by the KLTI from the Korea Herald:

U.S.-based magazine World Literature Today features Korean contemporary literature in a wide spectrum over the 16-page-long special section for its January-February edition.

This is the kind of thing that should open some eyes.

I also like the choice of novel to introduce -`Take Care of My Mom’ by Shin Kyung-sook as it seems to be one of those mother/daughter stories that I’m not personally fond of, but often seem to find a warm home in the kind of nooks and crannies that Oprah is found in.
