Bruce Fulton in Seoul
Last week I was lucky enough to interview Bruce Fulton, Professor of Asian Studies at the University of British Columbia, and a translator of Korea fiction with an incredible pedigree. He has translated novels, such as Cho Se-hui’s The Dwarf, and collections including “Land of Exile” and “The Red Room.” His latest translation is the collection, “Lost Souls: Stories” by Hwang Sunwon (Descendants of Cain, Cranes, Trees on a Slope).
