The Literature Translation Institute of Korea has been working hard this year to bring Korean Literature to non-Korean language readers. To thank them, all you have to do is go to their Facebook Page and press the “LIKE” button. Also, you can follow them on Twitter at @ltikorea (or, if you’re a Google+ person, here).
But, be sure..SURE^^ to like them on Facebook
So, what has LTI Korea done for you this year?
- Published the Dalkey series of books – 10 books of new, translated, and excellent Korean fiction.
- Finished the first round of the Wikipedia Project, putting up 350 page of information on Korean authors, translators, and institutions
- Put 20 new translations of Korean literature up on the web and available FREE to be read by an application or as a PDF
- Hosted the 2013 EU Translators’ Workshop at the University of Rome La Sapienzaon December 13th and 14th.
- Held its annual Forum in New York on November 14th ~ 15th with authors Haïlji, Seo Hajin, and Lee Kiho.
- Worked with the British Council to bring Korean literature to the London Book Fair in 2014
- And much, much, more….
And all they ask in return is that you go to their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/LTIKorea) and click on the “Like” button.
