Shin Kyung-sook’s “Please Look After Mom” about to slide off NYT Best-seller list

NYT Times BestSeller List

The end is in sight.^^

Shin Kyung-sook’s Please Look After Mom is about to slide off of the NYT Best-seller list, as it has slid to number 34, which is second to last on the “extended” fiction list.

Still, as My Friend in the Industry notes, “it was fun while it lasted. And she can try again when the paperback comes out next year.”

And I am pleased that it was knocked out by a series of really big-hitting Western writers and was not, as I feared last post, overtaken by Sister Souljah’s Midnight and the Meaning of Love.

That would have hurt. ^^
