If you are sweaty-palmed and pumped about the 2014 Seoul International Book Fair it comes as some surprise and a bit pain to see that with fewer than 4 weeks to go, most of the pages in English look like that nasty little box to the right there. This happens every year that the English page is started with the greatest enthusiasm and then withers one the vine.

But, the pages do exist in Korean and some hopscotching across that site brought me to the page and below you can see the authors name (Romanized in Hangul), and the times, days, and locations they will be presenting (Presentation will be in Korea), but if you want to hob with nobs, this is your one big chance a year to see some major Korean authors out mingling with public. In any case feel free to cut, paste and share this without attribution – it would be nice to see a few more “International” customers at the fair. You will also see a list of the author’s translated work beneath their names, so this would also be a keen time to come and get autographs.
